In this let's play series, I tackle an apparent fan favorite and a game that has been recommended to me for quite some time by A LOT of my viewers - Miitopia (2021) on the Nintendo Switch. The game was originally released back in 2017 on the Nintendo 3DS handheld device, but released again in the form of this remaster for Nintendo Switch in 2021. I'm using my own Mii as my playable hero and G4's Adam Sessler (which I have a Mii created for - long story) as the "Dark Lord".
In this let's play series, we're banana slammin' our way into one of the most iconic and beloved Nintendo 64 games, Donkey Kong 64. The game was originally released for the N64 back in 1999 and later saw a virtual console release for the Wii U in 2015. Donkey Kong 64 has long been one of my favorite N64 games. This game brings back A LOT of nostalgic memories for me, so I'm VERY excited to dive back in after all these years!
We're playing The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild on the Nintendo Switch! Released back in 2017, it was the last game produced by Nintendo for the Wii U console. The game also released simultaneously as a launch title for the Wii U's successor - the Nintendo Switch. Despite picking up my copy of Breath of the Wild the same day I picked up my Switch console, it has since sat as a largely un-played part of my game collection... until now!
Metroid Dread has FINALLY arrived on the Nintendo Switch! The Metroid series first premiered in North America back in 1987 on the NES and has spawned a fruitful franchise since then. Before Dread, the Metroid series most notably saw Metroid 1 through 4 in 2D side scrolling fashion - directly leading into Metroid Dread. The franchise also saw spin offs including the Metroid Prime trilogy and Metroid: The Other M.
In this episode of let's play Animal Crossing: New Horizons (2020) on the Nintendo Switch, I FINALLY get around to clearing out all of my Halloween decorations throughout my island. More importantly, Leif FINALLY has wheat starts for me to plant in my garden.
In this episode of let's play Animal Crossing: New Leaf (2012) on the Nintendo 3DS, I collect the last mushroom and Harvest Festival furniture for the year (I failed miserably this year). I also visit the island which... is a lot less cool than I remember.
In this episode of Animal Crossing: City Folk (2008) on the Nintendo Wii, we have a weird discussion about Brewster's "pigeon milk" offering at The Roost. WHAT IS PIGEON MILK? Birds can't be milked... can they? Gross. But on a lighter subject, we also play some hide and seek for the first time in what feels like forever!
In this episode of let's play Animal Crossing: Wild World (2005) for the Nintendo DS, we discuss the dark reality surrounding glue made from horse hooves after stumbling upon my latest new neighbor - Elmer (like the glue company) the horse. Sick joke by the developers or an unfortunate coincidence? You decide!
In this episode of let's play Animal Crossing (2002) on the Nintendo GameCube, I have myself a relaxing day (or at least try to). I do some fishing, shake some trees and acknowledge their weird animations... but I also get stung by bees and assaulted by a gnat IRL. BUT AT LEAST I HAVE THE GOLDEN SHOVEL NOW!
Happy Turkey Day! We're diving into the Turkey Day event and meeting up with Franklin the turkey across all 5 of the main Animal Crossing games. The holiday plays out a little differently in each game - including one game that left it out entirely!
