The game also released simultaneously as a launch title for the Wii U's successor - the Nintendo Switch. Despite picking up my copy of Breath of the Wild the same day I picked up my Switch console, it has since sat as a largely un-played part of my game collection... until now!

Metroid Dread has FINALLY arrived on the Nintendo Switch! The Metroid series first premiered in North America back in 1987 on the NES and has spawned a fruitful franchise since then. Before Dread, the Metroid series most notably saw Metroid 1 through 4 in 2D side scrolling fashion - directly leading into Metroid Dread. The franchise also saw spin offs including the Metroid Prime trilogy and Metroid: The Other M.

In this let's play series, we're banana slammin' our way into one of the most iconic and beloved Nintendo 64 games, Donkey Kong 64. The game was originally released for the N64 back in 1999 and later saw a virtual console release for the Wii U in 2015. Donkey Kong 64 has long been one of my favorite N64 games. This game brings back A LOT of nostalgic memories for me, so I'm VERY excited to dive back in after all these years!
